Maurice James Stante

Stante, Maurice James, 82, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, October 01, 2004 at home. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he moved here in 1978 from Lafayette Hills, PA. He was an Army veteran of WWII, a retired telephone installer, a member of the Disabled Veterans and the Telephone Retired Workers Association Tip?n Ringers. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Veronica K.; three sons, James M. of Pensacola, FL, Richard D. of Lansdale, PA and Glenn D. of Lafayette Hills, PA; daughter, Charlotte Haslam of Norristown, PA; step-daughter, Linda Fairman of Safety Harbor, FL; two half-brothers, Val Stante of Ocala, FL and Leonard Holt of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
