Patricia Ann Baum

Baum, Patricia “Patty”, 83, of St. Petersburg passed away on August 21, 2026, at St. Anthony’s Hospital surrounded by her family. 

Born and raised in Olean, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Elisie Ambroselli; and her siblings Joseph and Vincent James Ambroselli. Patty is survived by her son, Steven J Baum, daughter-in-law, Andrea Baum and grandchildren, Taylor her husband Cody and Alexis . 

Patty was a dedicated mother and Gammy, sacrificing her life for that of her family. She was a single mother who enjoyed playing catch with her son, collecting sports memorabilia, dancing, riding her bike, puzzles, being creative, baking and cooking. But she enjoyed the love of her family the most, always up to cook, bake, do a new dance, do a silly video or anything her “Gambabies” asked. She was a proud cancer survivor, battling and succeeding for 20+ years and never letting it slow her down. She loved her Buffalo Bills, always cheering on her team, GO BILLS!!!

You were our hero Gammy, and we know how much you loved us all. Rest in Peace Gammy and know that your “Little Boy”, “the girl who stole his heart” and your “Gambabies” all love you, miss you and will continue to make you proud. 

There will not be a service and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Cancer Society.
