Rhoda Wade

Rhoda(Cox) Wade, 78 of Saint Petersburg, FL., passed away June 8th. She was born June 20th to James Okey and Opal(Miller) Cox in Elizabeth, WV. Rhoda attended Wirt County schools, but graduate of Belpre High School, member of Two Ripple Baptist Church. Proceeded in death by her parents,and siblings, Ralph, Ruby, Royden,Rosiemae, Ronald, Rachel, two infant brothers, and one infant sister. Survived by two brothers Robert Cox, Raymond Cox, and two sisters Ruth Mann, and Romona Watson, many nieces, and nephews. She is survived by four sons, Michael R Wade and his wife Sonya, Glen S VanVorst, Larry M. Wade, and Douglas P. Wade. Five grandkids Michael R. Wade JR, Michelle Wade, Meaghan Wade, Jacob D Wade, and Breanna Wade. Four great grandkids Michael R Wade III, Meaghan Avery Wade, Maleah Wynn Wade, Jody L Odom III. Rhoda was known by Chief and the beauty queen. She loved her sons, and family. She put a smile on everyone’s face with her funny jokes, loved to eat out, loved her close friends, and church family. She especially loved singing with her brothers , and sisters.
