Richard Cresswell Harris

Richard C. Harris passed away on Dec. 22, 2013 after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. He was an Air Force helicopter crew chief in the Strategic Air Command and a Vietnam Combat Veteran. Surviving are his loving wife Sandra (Crowe), daughter Dawn, son Rob, grandchildren Grace, Drew, Garrett, Gabrielle & Shannon, and sisters Althea Woodard and Sylvia English. He owned his own plumbing company, R.C. Harris & Son, doing new construction in Virginia before moving to Florida in 1988. Here he owned American Dream & All Stars Realty. He is Past President of Seminole Fraternal Order of Eagles 4147and lifetime member of the American Legion. Richard enjoyed bass fishing, camping, travelling, bowling & dancing. He loved people and doing for others. He will be sorely missed. Memorial contributions may be made to the Suncoast Hospice. Memorial service on Jan. 2, 2014 at 6 pm with visitation prior at 5:30 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 MLK St N, St. Petersburg.
