William Ellis Burtchaell (Bill) passed away on June 18, 2026, at St, Anthony’s Hospital ER in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was 85 years old. Bill was born on January 22, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Wilena and William Burtchaell. Bill was raised in Riverdale, Georgia, by his beloved Aunt Nina and Josie. He graduated from Jonesboro High School and joined the United States Navy. He served as a Signalman from 1959-1962.
Bill worked in several different fields before discovering that his true passion was for real estate development.
