Bertha Yanez

Bertha Delahanty Yanez was born in Tucson, Arizona on December 22, 1926 to her parents Frank and Julia (Cota) Delahanty. After a brief illness passed away peacefully on February 20, 2017 with her loved ones by her side. She was 90 years of age, “your AVON lady” and a lifelong resident of Tucson, Arizona. She was married to Jesus B. Yanez from 1947 until his death in 2015. She is survived by her sons, Joe (Rachel (deceased) Yanez, David (Gayle (deceased) Yanez, Robert (Rhonda) Yanez, Albert Yanez and daughter Patricia Yanez, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and lifelong friends. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Angel Valley Funeral Home 2545 N. Tucson Blvd, Tucson Arizona. Funeral mass will be Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd, Tucson Arizona. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
