David Anthony Moreau

On Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, David Anthony Moreau, beloved father, brother, and husband passed away in Tucson Arizona, after a long battle with his physical health. He was preceded in death by his son Jordin and his son-in-law Cody. It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his passing. David was born in San Francisco, CA. on April 29th, 1964. He married his beloved wife Patricia in 2010. David was a teacher for over 20 years, teaching for the last decade on the Navajo Reservation at Tuba City High School, where he was adored by staff and students alike. He served as both the head of the math department and football coach and was inducted into the Tuba City High School Football Hall of Fame. David was a cherished friend, strong mentor, and big softy as described by those who loved him. He is survived by nine of his children, (Annaleah, Jeffery, Wendy, Angel, Melody, Nicole, Ashley, Joshua, and Johnathan), 12 grandchildren, his wife Patricia Moreau, and his 3 younger siblings (Kathleen, Andrew, and Thomas). The pain of this loss is tremendous and overwhelming, but the family is doing all they can to hold strong together remembering the often-spoken words of David. “When you fall, get back up.” We fight on as the mighty warriors he would have wanted us to be. Services for David A. Moreau will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024, as follows; 10:30 am - Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 8615 W. Peoria, Peoria AZ 85345. 12pm - Reception to follow at Sun Air Estates Rec Center, 9600 N. 97th Lane, Peoria, AZ 85345. Mass is optional, but the family hopes friends and loved ones will join them at the reception to share stories, laughs, and celebrate the life of David, who was a friend to so many.
