Dianne Jurica
d. Sep 13, 2026
Dianne Jurica, born in Tucson in 1942, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Dianne was the oldest child of Paul and Doris Devereux. A lifelong Tucsonan rooted in her community, she attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School and Salpointe Catholic High School before graduating from the University of Arizona. In 1964, she married Jerry Jurica. She was mother to Karen (Jurica) Railey and Paul “P.J.” Jurica.
Professionally, Dianne dedicated herself to serving others. She worked as a program director for the YMCA in Lubbock, Texas, and later returned to Tucson, where she served as the finance director for both Safari Club International and Habitat for Humanity.
An adventurous spirit, Dianne enjoyed meeting new people and traveling. However, her greatest and most cherished joy in life was being a grandmother to her beloved grandsons, Robert and Richard.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Doris Devereux, and her son, Paul “P.J.” Jurica. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Railey; her sisters, Deborah and Melinda; her brother, Chris; her grandsons; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her profoundly.
Dianne will be forever remembered for the meaningful connections she made, the places she explored, and the boundless love she shared with her family.
A celebration of life will be held at the Arizona Inn on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
