Dorothy Dorner

Dorothy Dorner, a long time-resident of the Tucson area died at age 95 on Sunday the 26th of September 2010 at Casa De la Luz Hospice Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and married Francis Dorner June 6, 1942 in Charles Church Cornwell Height, PA. In her early years she worked during WWII assembling aircraft in Tucson. Dorothy was a wonderful wife and mother who devoted her life to her family of five children. Up until recently she enjoyed traveling on cruise ships to a variety of destinations. Her children span the globe living in Arizona, Washington, Alaska, and New Zealand. She is survived by her children and their spouses Frank and Linda Dorner of Washington, Joseph and Dana Dorner, John and Sharon Dorner, Susan and Ronald Berry all of Arizona, Steve and Kate Dorner of New Zealand. The grandchildren are Frank spouse Amanda, Doug spouse Kim, Joe, Briana, Brian spouse Shawna, Kevin, Leon, Jasmine , Anastasia and Steve Berry, and five great-grandchildren living in Alaska and Washington.
