Francisco Galvez

Francisco "David" Galvez, aged 49, earned his wings on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Tucson, AZ. David enjoyed work as a handyman with special interest in automotive and bicycle mechanics. He was an avid cyclist participating in events to include the Cochise County Classic, El Tour De Tucson, Cyclovia, and Sunday bike rides along the Rillito bike path with family and friends. David will be remembered for his kindness and thoughtfullness and always having a smile on his face and never wanting to be an imposition on anyone else. He is survived by his parents Victor and Janice Galvez, his siblings Victor A. Galvez, Jr. (Ann), Alex B. Galvez (Lourdes), Mary Rita Rounds, Mary Ann Araiza (Cris), Mary Jo Galvez, Mary Helen Vega (Rudy), Christopher E. Galvez, his life partner Florence Wallin, and 13 nieces and nephews, and 4 great nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm with rosary at 6 pm on Thursday, November 6, at the Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am Friday, November 7, Sacred Heart Church.
