Life Legacy Gail-Lynn Smith, long time resident of Tucson, AZ. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 9, 2017. Gail-Lynn was well known in the Tucson community for her generous and kind heart. She worked for TUSD for over 25 years at both Catalina and Pueblo High Schools as a Counselor and Mediator to at-risk youth. Gail-Lynn was instrumental in changing the lives of many adolescents and adults. She unselfishly gave of herself, even running a support group for parents on Thursday evenings for many years. After her career in Education, she pursued her passion for Real Estate. Gail-Lynn went to work for Coldwell Banker for 10 years, during that time she was a mentor for incoming Realtors. Gail-Lynn touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a very loving and generous spirit. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend Phyllis. The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Garland, Dr. D. Stea, as well as nurses Meredith and Nancy who gave us more time with our beautiful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend.
