Jamie Lynn Makepeace
Oct 12, 1966 — Sep 28, 2021
Jamie Makepeace, 54, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away suddenly due to a tragic accident on September 28, 2021. Jamie spent her childhood in Rapid River, Michigan, before relocating to Denver, Colorado after graduation where she married her friend and love, David Makepeace.
Jamie was a dedicated mother and home maker. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She was just naturally fun to be around. She lived her life devoted to God and was a spiritual woman. She had a tremendous love for animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going on adventures, being in nature, shopping and of course eating sweets! She was full of life, love, and laughter. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
She is a loving & devoted mother to Daniel Olson of Green Bay, Wisconsin, deceased; Kersey Makepeace of Tucson, Arizona; and David (DJ) Makepeace, of Spokane, Washington. She has one grandchild Layla Achziger of Aurora, Colorado. She also leaves behind her mother Janet Aper of Rapid River, Michigan; a brother Billy Aper of Rapid River, Michigan; and sister LeAnn Aper of Atmautluak, Alaska.
The celebration of her life will be held at Angel Valley Funeral home on Tuesday October 12, at 2:00 pm. The family will have visitation hours from 1-2 pm. If you need further information such as the live stream details, you can contact Angel Valley Funeral Home (520) 329-4127.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sister Jose Woman’s Center located at 1050 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719.
