Janice Randall
Feb 7, 1946 — Jul 12, 2016
Janice A Randall, resided in Tucson, AZ for over forty years, and though a native of Michigan, considered this to be her home. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday July 12, 2016 in her home with her husband Kurt Randall caring for her. She was seventy years young.
Janice spent much of her life as a homemaker, caring for her children and grandchildren, but had worked as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults, and as a bartender. and waitress. No matter what job she had, or activity she pursued, she did it with kindness, a warm smile, and care.
She is predeceased by Marie and Joseph Melega, Carmen and Rosemary Melega, and Michael (Christopher) Place.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Kurt W. Randall, and her three daughters, Kelly M. Lee, Cynthia R. Gonzales, and Billie Lee Salas.
She is also survived by her many grandchildren, Kurt W Randall, Krystal Lee, Rosaleah Lopez, Kevin Lopez, Opal Lee, Thomas Yongbanthom, Jenica (Gigi) Werner, Patricia Sounnakhone, Stephanie Vanalstine, Anthony Guerra, Cassandra Salas, and Ambrosia Murchison.
Janice lived a full life and was blessed with a large number of great grandchildren, including Autumn Wood, Shea Leighton, Bella Leighton, Jazz Leighton, Jack Place, Mary Gilliam, Arzalia Gilliam, Analisa Dicochea, Aidan Lopez, Max Lopez, Chloe Lopez, Serenity Lopez, Samaya Lopez, Haylee Lee, Thomas (Tommy) Yongbathom 2, Charlotte Rothe, Marius Xavier Werner, and Logan Vanalstine.
She will also be remembered by John Leighton, Harry Gonzales, Dominic Salas, Bruce Murchison, Sabrina Lopez, Birdie Wood, Brandt Frazier, Ares Frazier, Erin Burt, Thomas Ziegler, Joseph Vanalstine, Chris Ganz, and many others whom she touched throughout life.
Janice encouraged diversity in all things, and this is apparent in her family, with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all being multiethnic, with their backgrounds being Hispanic, Asian, American Indian, African American, European, and more.
Janice will be missed by many. Her legacy of love will live on through all her loved ones, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
