Jeff Rowe
Jul 11, 1977 — Aug 27, 2026
In Loving Memory of Jeff Rowe
Jeff had a remarkable ability to turn an ordinary moment into something memorable.
Jeffrey Wayne “Jeff” Rowe, 49, of Carmel, IN passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 27, 2026, following a happy evening spent doing something he loved most—catching up with his family and hearing about their day and cheering on the Cubs.
Born on July 11, 1977, to Norm and Judy Rowe, Jeff was a proud graduate of Purdue University, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, and colleague, and he was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Rowe, and his beloved son, Baylor Rowe. He was predeceased by his daughter, Vivian Rowe, whose memory remained an important and cherished part of his life and his family. And by his father-in-law, Michael McIntyre who he frequently traded grilling tips with.
Jeff found immense joy in being a dad. He loved cheering on Baylor at hockey and, even more, celebrating every aspect of his son's life and adventures. He was interested in it all—the stories, the accomplishments, the challenges, and the everyday moments. There was nothing Jeff loved more than being present for his family and sharing in the lives of the people he loved.
He also knew how to enjoy life. Jeff was an avid golfer and could happily reminisce about a recent round at Pebble Beach, savoring not only the game but the experience and memories that came with it. He was equally passionate about cooking and entertaining. Jeff was also a gifted engineer whose career included work with Praxair, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, Wabash National, V2X, and most recently Leonardo Electronics. Whether on the golf course, in the kitchen, or gathered around a table with friends, Jeff had a remarkable ability to turn an ordinary moment into something memorable.
And then there was Jeff's music. His playlists were legendary—carefully crafted to set the perfect mood for any occasion. Whether it was a car ride to Baylor's hockey game, an evening entertaining friends, or simply time spent together, his music was an extension of who he was: thoughtful, joyful, and meant to be shared.
Jeff's impact reached far beyond his immediate family. He was deeply loved by his friends and colleagues, and he had a way of making people feel connected, welcomed, and valued. His humor, generosity, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in others left an impression that will not easily fade.
The hole Jeff leaves behind is immense. His absence will be felt by his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him. While that loss can never truly be filled, neither can the space Jeff created in the lives of those around him. His presence was large, and the memories he created are even larger. They will continue to live on—in the stories shared, the music played, the golf courses remembered, the meals prepared, the hockey games cheered, and, most of all, in the lives of the people he loved so deeply.
Jeff will be profoundly missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
