BIOGRAPHY
Kevin Dean French is the son of Vernon and Joan French. Kevin passed away on Thursday June 17 at his home in Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his Parents Joan and Vernon.
He is survived by his ex-husband and good friend of 20 years, Jerry Jacobs and his two rescue dogs Kody and Blueberry.
Kevin had a successful career as a Senior Trust Officer and Assistant Vice President, facilitating the property development of our changing city. Respected by many in his profession he was awarded a special acknowledgement by the Women’s Council of Realtors. A lover of the arts and literature he facilitated benefits and events celebrating the diverse community of Southern Arizona. He also shared a great love of the sea and sailing. But one of his greatest loves were animals. He spent his last working years at the Rolling Hills Pet Clinic as an office manager. He supported animal rescue and made every effort to place every animal that crossed his path.
Kevin’s closest friends are grateful to the community that surrounded him in life and who mourn him in death. We would especially like to thank Kevin’s close friends who have kept him in their thoughts and prayers. May God bless each of you and your families for creating a loving community for Kevin.
I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

A FAVORITE SONG
I dedicate this song to you Kevin because it truly describes our life together
The Dance by Garth Brooks
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared beneath the stars above
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known you'd ever say goodbye
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance
Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I the king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have changed it all
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance
