Kitty T Stoops
Born September 23, 1940, passed away November 12, 2014. Kitty was born in Meriden, Connecticut to Clinton C. and Ida M. (Schramm) Rader, both deceased, and a resident of Tucson since 1963, Kitty leaves behind her two sons, Ken Uliasz and Kevin Uliasz both of Tucson Arizona.
Kitty and her first Husband, Edward A. (Ed) Uliasz, were married in Meriden in 1959 and their first child, Ken was born there. In 1962 they moved to New Mexico for their son’s health. After a Visit to Tucson to attend the rodeo in February 1963 they made the decision to move to Tucson. Their second son,Kevin, was born in 1965. In 1971 Kitty and Ed were divorced. Approximately one and one half years later Kitty married Philip H (Phil) Thomas. Unfortunately, Phil passed away and their marriage lasted only seven years. Kitty then married William J. (Bill) Stoops in 1990, a longtime friend of Ed, Phil, and Kitty’s. Bill passed away in August 2005.
Kitty retired from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Business in 2002. She enjoyed her retirement years and was constantly keeping busy learning how to do home maintenance. Every time someone visited she had to show off any and all repair work she had accomplished. Per her request, no Funeral or Memorial services will be held.
