Lourdes Piedad Fuentes February 11, 1953-March 20, 2016 Lourdes Piedad Fuentes ¨Lulu¨, 63, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on March 20, 2016 following a 16 year courageous battle against Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). A caring and giving mother to her three daughters, she continued to teach them about life through her sickness and its many stages. She received the best care one could hope for from her daughter Ruth Williams. She was born in Arizpe Sonora on February 11, 1953. Lourdes was preceded in death by her father Carlos Fuentes, sisters Guadalupe Maldonado and Francisca Fuentes. She is survived by her mother Francisca Fuentes, daughters, Ruth, Marlene, and Aracely, grandchildren, Gilbert, Kayla, Seth, Ethan, Michael, Sebastian, and Caleb, her siblings Margarita Felix, Carlos, Arturo, Hector, Andrea , Catalina, and Gildardo Fuentes. Lourdes will be remembered as the beautiful, brave, proud, inspiring, dependable, lively, vibrant, funny, and kind woman who helped many when in need. She was a hard worker and stopped at nothing to reach her goals. She loved dancing, good food, and listening to music. She will be dearly missed.
