Mackenzie Formicola
Dec 27, 1995 — Oct 31, 2011
The Lord blessed the Formicola's for the second of three times on December 27, 1995 when MacKenzie Raymond was born. No one could guess the life story that lay ahead or the people and places he touched during his short stay on the earth. The simpliest way to put it is that God poured down miracle after miracle on his precious little man and our family. Kenzie has beat a brain tumor and the resulting cancer. He has won over seizures, reduced eye sight and hearing, weight loss and the ability to walk normally. Through all of that he's shown a spirit of life, of courage, of fighting and never giving up. He hardly ever complained, he loved to play and communicate with people, he loved to beep your nose and he loved dogs. He will always be missed, but also never be missed because we know he's in the loving hands of Jesus. Our family thanks all of our friends, our wonderful church, our brother and sisters in Christ in Oracle, his teachers and friends at ASDB and all of the wonderful medical professionals that have worked with us during the years as we all fought and prayed for life (especially the emergency responders, pilots and hospital staff who fought for over two hours to save him). An especial thank you to our home helpers who come daily or weekly into our home and helped us with little Kenzie. We are blessed and highly favored by God for all he's given MacKenzie and us his family.
