Marilyn Lesh
May 11, 1941 — Jan 19, 2019
Marilyn L. Lesh was born on May 11, 1941 to parents Joseph and Margie Lesh in Los Angeles California. Upon her graduation from UCLA, Marilyn began a long and successful career as a Medical Transcriber. After working with a number of notable Doctors in California and Connecticut, she became a highly respected transcription manager in hospitals throughout southern California.
When Marilyn relocated to Tucson to be near her mother, she joined the Medical transcription team at Tucson Medical Center where she remained until her retirement. Marilyn enjoyed long road trips throughout the United States visiting with friends and family, and exploring art galleries and museums. She was an avid quilter, expert cook and her passion for reading was boundless.
On January 18, 2019 at the age of 77, Marilyn passed away after a long illness. Her parents and a brother, Larry Lesh, preceded her in death. She is survived by her nephew Michael Lesh of Texas and nieces Tracy Kuzemka of Virginia and Tiffany Emerson of California.
As Marilyn strived to lead an independent and full life, she became a true inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
