Mary Mammas

Mary Mammas was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 9, 1927 to her parents Michael and Chrysanthe "Grace" Krokidas. She passed away on January 27, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. She was 89 years of age. She has been in Tucson, Arizona for many years and was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. She was married to George Mammas from 1948 until his death in 1984. She is survived by Children: Lynn (Ted) Von Bank, Michelle Papadakis, and Christian Johnston. Brothers: Michael, Nick and Perry Krokidas. Grandchildren, Gina, Nick, Michael and Stephen and Great granddaughter Sophia. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Tuesday evening, January 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM in Angel Valley Funeral Home, 2545 N Tucson Blvd. Tucson, Arizona The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00 AM with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Union Public House.
