Paul Moses
May 3, 1939 — Mar 28, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul A. Moses, a man whose life was defined by quiet brilliance, deep faith, and an enduring love for the stories that connect us all.
Paul passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of the family he cherished. Born in 1939, Paul walked through life with a signature grace and humility.
As a dedicated business owner, he approached his work with the same simplicity and integrity that he applied to every aspect of his life. Yet, those who knew him best understood that his true vocation was that of a storyteller. Whether he was recounting personal history or weaving lessons from the world around him, Paul’s conversations were always brilliant, thought-provoking, and deeply insightful. A man of profound curiosity, Paul possessed an authentic love for the ancestry of all people. This passion consistently found its way into his conversations, serving as a reminder of the common threads that bind us together as a human family.
He found beauty in the natural world and solace in his garden, where his love for nature and plants mirrored his gentle, nurturing spirit.
Paul’s life was anchored by his unwavering faith. He was a man of God, whose daily devotion was evident to all who saw him with his Bible—a practice that provided him with both wisdom and peace. His humble nature was not just a personality trait; it was a way of living that prioritized simplicity, kindness, and connection.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Valerie; his daughter, Muna; his son, Tarek; and his grandchildren.
He now finds rest, preceded in death by his dear son, Bernard.
Though he has left our sight, the stories he shared and the wisdom he imparted will continue to grow in the hearts of those who knew him, much like the plants he so tenderly cared for throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and the reminder to always honor the history of those who came before us.
Services will be held at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church 5910 East 5th Street, Tucson, AZ 85711 on Monday April 13th at 10:00 am
