Rafael Leon

Rafael T. Leon passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona. Preceded in death by his devoted father, Jesus Leon Leon, and loving grandmother, Carmen B. Trejo. He leaves beyond his loving mother, Rose T. Leon, who he was very close to, two beautiful children, Joseph Samuel Leon and Sarah Elizabeth Leon Moreno (husband Daniel) whom he said were his proudest and greatest accomplishments, and his four siblings, David Leon (wife Debi), Alex Leon, Francis Leon Beegle (husband Paul) and Rosella Leon, many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great nieces, cousins, extended family and dear friends that he loved and remained close to. Those who knew Rafael knew he loved living, was a great conversationalist, loved laughter, sharing a meal, his family and fellowship with many and most of all loved the Giver of Life Himself Jesus Christ. No matter where he was, he did the best to live out the commandment of our Lord "to go out and make disciple of all nations." (Matthew 28:19) God blew out his candle, took him back from us but his light will remain with us forever. Our son, brother, father, and friend will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be a Celebration of his Life on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Angel Valley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.
