Richard Paul Sniegowski

"I'll find you in the morning sun, and when the night is new, I'll be looking at the moon but I'll be seeing you." I. Kahal

Richard, “Dick” Sniegowski formerly of Ludington, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2024, at the age of 80. He was a former administrator for TUSD1 and held various positions related to special education in Michigan and Phoenix. After retirement, he supervised student teachers for Grand Canyon University while pursuing personal interests like tennis, hiking, reading/researching historical events and taking day/overnight trips with his wife. He enjoyed watching college and professional football along with tennis tournaments, always with a “cold” one by his side. A proud Michigan State University graduate who “bled” green, his preferred ride was a red Corvette.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother and stepson, Leon.

Richard is survived by his wife Lynn, two daughters, Jodi and Jami, grandsons Nathan, Gabriel and Brandon, great-granddaughters, Adelina, Amia and Alaura. He was uncle to three nieces and two nephews. He will be deeply missed.

Heartfelt thanks to the conscientious staff at St. Joseph's hospital and much appreciation to the extraordinary, caring staff of Grace Hospice and Palliative care for their support.

All services will be private.

Ashes will be placed in a niche at All Faith's Memorial Park and Cemetery.
