Rita Moore
Nov 16, 1941 — Jul 13, 2017
Rita Babuca Moore (75), born 11/16/1941, lay into eternal peaceful rest July 13, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Daughter of deceased parents Rafael Babuca and Maria Luisa Villela and one of nine siblings she was a true matriarch of the family in all senses of the word. Mom was always loving, caring, humble and kind...an ironclad workhorse that persevered and flourished outside of Mexico. A "gringo" from PA who sought after her hand in unknown foreign territory of La Mesa Sonora - Richard Lee Moore - was ecstatic she accepted him and they were married 11/03/1966. Together they grew and raised their children Octavio Babuca (Ivette), Laura Moore, Brenda Bernal (Michael). Offspring grew into eight grandchildren Amaris, Cristina, Alejandro, Araceli, Estefany, Gabriela, Alexis and Nicolas and ten great grandchildren Antonio, Adán, Maribel, Teddy, Isabella, Isaías, Mateo, Luna, Milah, and Noah whom by the Grace of God were able to experience the wonderful love of ABUELA. Mom was so talented and dedicated in her role as homemaker never giving up on life or obstacles. Religion and the Faith of God was her rock. She stayed married with her loving husband until the date of his death 12/22/2006. The Good Lord took her now so she could rest and be united in Heaven with family gone before her. God Bless you Mommy, thank you so much for our lives and everything you taught us. You will remain in our hearts always and forever until we embrace again.
The memorial mass will be at Most Holy Trinity on Monday July 24, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
