Russell Lee III

Russell Lee III, 73, stepped peacefully into the presence of Jesus Christ, his Savior, on August 19, 2026. Russ was born in Memphis, TN, on June 16, 1953, to his loving parents, Russell Jr. and Margaret Lee.

On December 21, 1974, Russ married his best friend, Linda. They shared a long, beautiful life, full of love and laughter. In the hard times, they stood strong and honored each other.

Russ was a loving Father and Grandfather, to his daughter, Becky Raymond, her husband, Doug, their children, Ash and Aleah; and his son Russell IV, his wife Tanya, and their children, Abi, Russell V (Rory), and Stefon. They were his pride and joy.

As a master mechanic at FedEx, Russ spent 35 years fixing everything from dollies to semis. But his true passion was serving others, his family, and his friends. Whether working in construction or driving, he lived with a deep devotion to his faith and community, always finding joy in serving through God’s Vast Resources (GVR). Russ could often be found smiling and welcoming people to Value Veggies every Saturday.

Russ’s creativity and patience shone through his passion for building models, where he brought his knowledge and expertise to every detail. He also enjoyed countless hours designing and running his intricate N-scale train set.

His brothers and sisters will miss him: Mary, Andy, Ron, Rita, John and their children.
