Ron grew up in Pueblo Colorado where he graduated from South Highschool. He met many lifelong long friends in high school along with his wife Kathy L. Harrison at his senior picnic. In his younger years he enjoyed water skiing, fishing and spending time camping.
He married his wife Kathy Harrison on May 26, 1973, in Pueblo Colorado. They quicky moved to Denver after getting married so Ron could pursue schooling in the sheet metal trade. He had a long career in the sheet metal trade and was very proud to work on many high-level projects during his time to include DIA, the Elephant Exhibit at the Denver Zoo, Skyridge Medical Center and Swedish Hospital.
After a long career Ron retired in 2011 where he enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters and most of all, his grandkids. In his retirement he loved going to Blackhawk and Las Vegas where he loved to play video poker. He was a lifelong Broncos fan and rarely missed a game although sometimes he felt he could coach better.
Ron had a passion for caring for animals all his life and never met an animal he did not love. Whether they were his own pets, his grand-pets, or the squirrels he faithfully fed each day, his compassion for animals was truly a gift. His passion, kindness and commitment to his family and friends will be deeply missed.
