Victor Wright

Apr 11, 1957 — Mar 7, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor Wright, who left us on March 7, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on April 11, 1957, in Spring Valley, Illinois, Victor was the beloved son of Richard and Marilyn Wright. After graduating from Pomona High School, he dedicated over three decades of service to the United States Post Office, where he retired after 33 fulfilling years.

Victor was a family man to his core. He treasured his three children: Cheryl (Craig) Close, Craig (Kendra) Wright, and Chris (Kelli) Wright, along with their mother, Denice Wright. He took immense joy in being a grandfather to Jaden Haliw, Carlee Close, Charlotte Wright, Cooper Wright, and Quinn Wright. His heart swelled with pride for his great-grandson, Ace Haliw. Victor’s love for his family was unparalleled, and they were truly his pride and joy.

Known for his wicked sense of humor, Victor had a talent for lighting up any room. Whether surrounded by family or friends, it was never a dull moment—laughter was a given whenever he was around. A committed Denver Broncos fan, he always found a way to incorporate a joke or a light-hearted quip about his favorite team into any conversation.

Victor is also survived by his siblings: Patricia (Lynn) Miller, Suzie (Larry) Miller, Mary Lombardi, John (Brandi) Wright, and Vincent Wright, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his eldest sister, Richalyn (Dixie) White.

Friends and family are invited to honor Victor’s memory on April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Aspen Mortuary (6370 Union St, Arvada, CO 80004). Following the service, there will be a celebration of his life at the Arvada Elks Lodge #2278 (5700 Yukon St, Arvada, CO 80002) at 5:00 PM.

Though he has left this world, the laughter, love, and memories Victor gifted us will remain etched in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
