Clarence Lawrence Lockett

Clarence Lawrence Lockett, 72, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Saturday August 1, 2026, at the VA Hospital surrounded by family and loved ones.

Clarence was born on January 12, 1955, in Louisiana to Leroy Lockett and Delores Lockett. He grew up in Lake Charles graduating from W. O. Boston High School. Clarence went on to serve in the Army. Clarence later graduated with a B.S. In Applied Management from National College Rapid City South Dakota.

Throughout his life, Clarence was known for kindness, faith, generosity, and dedication to the ones he loved. He enjoyed all sports, especially football, coaching, gardening and found great joy bringing everyone together for his Louisiana cooking.

A faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado; Clarence, was devoted to his faith. It was a guiding force throughout his life and was reflected in the love and care shown to others.

Above all, Clarence cherished his family. He Is survived by his sons, Derrick and Lukas Lockett; grandchildren, DJ, Krissy, Derricka and Dedrick; siblings, Kenneth Lockett. Faye Lockett, and Shirley L. Labbe and a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Leroy and Delores Lockett, siblings Elze Cooper, Ruby Lee Frank, Leroy L. James, and Sandra L. Baker.

*A celebration of Clarence's life will be held on Tuesday August 18th at 2:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church 915 E 9th Ave Denver, CO 80203*.
