Ellen Yoder

B Ellen (Sherman) Yoder was born August 20,1938 in Logansport, IN.  She was the daughter of Earl R Sherman and Marjorie (McNaught) Sherman.

On January 21, 1956 Ellen was united in marriage to Dean B Yoder in Logansport, IN.  Ellen and Dean worked together serving with Youth for Christ and Christian World Outreach throughout their marriage.  Ellen enjoyed sewing, card making and many other crafts and hobbies.  She passion was to pass her skill in sewing on to ladies in Burkina Faso and Haiti.

Ellen peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026 in Castle Rock, CO.  Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Dean and all of her siblings, Murruell, Kathryn, Mary Alice, Donald and Paul.  Ellen is survived by her three sons Greg (Laura) Yoder of Castle Rock, CO, Mike (Leslie) Yoder of Grand Rapids, MI and Andy (Devon) Yoder of Myersville, MD; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
