Margaret Hessner

Margaret “Lenore” Hessner, born December 18, 1929, in Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, in Evergreen, Colorado. Lenore had been a resident of the Lifecare Center of Evergreen for many years, where she was known for her gentle spirit and dignified presence.

Lenore’s life began in Oklahoma, the cherished daughter of Opal McCullough and Robert Liang. As she grew, Lenore cultivated a life characterized by warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. She married Raymond Hessner, and together they built a loving home and shared a deep partnership until his passing.

Among Lenore’s greatest joys was her role as a mother. She is survived by her devoted son, Robert Hessner, who lovingly carries forward her memory and the values she instilled. Lenore is predeceased by her husband Raymond, her mother Opal, and her father Robert.

Throughout her long and meaningful life, Lenore touched all who knew her with her kindness and grace.
