Faith "Joyce" M. Amborn

Faith “Joyce” Marie Amborn, age 94, of Duluth, MN, passed away at the Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living Facility, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, surrounded by family. A visitation starts at 11:00 AM followed by the memorial service on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Atkins-Northland Funeral Home at 12 PM and conclude with a time for fellowship. A visitation will occur one hour prior to the service.

Faith “Joyce” Marie (LeDoux) Amborn was born on November 19, 1931, in Duluth, MN to Bertha (Carlson) and Lazim LeDoux. She attended school in Hermantown.

Joyce enjoyed traveling, taking trips to Alaska and riding with her husband, Elmer Amborn, on long hauls. Faith and Elmer were happily married for 77 years. Joyce also loved spending time outdoors doing activities including camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Joyce loved to shop and had a creative side, appreciating and making various arts and crafts; rekindling her love for painting.

Joyce is survived by her beloved husband, Elmer; daughter Carol Krzewinski; son Steven (Cheryl) Amborn; sister Darlene Schultz; grandchildren Matthew (Jennifer) Krzewinski, Susan Krzewinski Knaus, Mark (Courtney) Krzewinski, Jereme (Brittany) Amborn, and Daniel Amborn; and great grandchildren Brenden, Alexis, Olivia, Ivy, Jaxsen, Delilah, Hudsen, Riley, and Averi; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bertha and Lazim; brothers Ralph, Harvey, Clarence, Robert, Leslie, Roy, and Larry; sons-in-law Thomas Krzewinski and Jerry Knaus.
