Jack "Alan" Huhta

Jack “Alan” Huhta, age 70, of Floodwood Minnesota, passed away with family at his side on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton, Minnesota. He was born in Moose Lake on May 26, 1956, to Jack Huhta and Florence Padrnos. Alan earned his GED and graduated from St. Paul Technical College in 2007 with a degree in Welding. He was proud of his work in bridge manufacturing as it was another certificate earned. In Alan’s free time he sang and played guitar for local bands in Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. Alan is survived by his mother; siblings, Dale Huhta, and Joni Daudiffret; children, Richard, Christopher, Billy (Christina), Peri, and Ashley (Jason) Morris; and five grandchildren.

Visitation: 11 a.m. until the 12 p.m. Memorial Service on September 18, 2026 at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet, MN. Inurnment will be at West Branch Cemetery in Kettle River, MN.
