John Allen Patrick

John Allen Patrick died early Tuesday morning, February 23, 2016. John was born on June 7, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL and was lovingly adopted by Marie and Allen Patrick who have predeceased him. He grew up in Miami/Hialeah, FL. After serving his Country in the U.S. Air Force, he lived and worked in Santa Maria, California before coming back home to Miami in 1963. Shortly after returning home he began his 32 year career with Florida Power & Light. He enjoyed hunting and Sporting Clay shooting and had been a member of the Spaceport Gun Club located in KARS Park, Merritt Island. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra, son John Patrick, Jr. (Holly), daughter Cheryl Patrick, grandson Nathaniel Patrick, granddaughter Mackenzie Patrick, several “heart” grandchildren, mother-in-law Roberta Frye, brother and sister-in-law Eddie and Andrea Frye, his cousin and friend Robert Burkett and many other loving family members and friends. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Cocoa, FL fellowship hall.
