Karen Sue Spillman 76 Recently of Rockledge, FL (formerly Snohomish, WA) leaves behind her daughter Jacque, stepson Rusty (w/Christine & d/Alyssa), Sister Jacquelyn Brown, nieces Erika Burns & Heidi Browning (d/Ayanna) along with Katherine Bitz (d/Madeline). Along with 2 glorious friends she considered sisters Ursula Nelson & Terry Schmitt. She was born in Ohio on Leap-year Day & took full advantage of always celebrating February 28, 29 & March 1! She was a nurse in the Army then took a break to raise her daughter. Entering back into the job market primarily in the hospitality field. Working for Marriott, WorldMark the Club, Olive Garden & lastly WDS @ Costco where she was “a sample lady” which she loved! She never passed up a cup of coffee or an opportunity to share that cup along with conversation with a friend. She also loved to vacation & cruise and was always ready to “get out of Dodge” & GO! Karen was a child at heart and loved the Ride On toys at the mall where she got asked to leave by security! Her family called her “The Energizer Bunny” because she was always raring to go! Sadly UTIs got the best of her these last few years and caused her demise. Her family will be hosting a Celebration of Life August 1, 2020. At The Thompson House in Rockledge, FL.
