Kathryn Murphy

Kathryn “Kat” Murphy succumbed to cancer at 10:43 pm on Sunday, July 3, 2011. She is survived by brothers James and Charlie Morris, husband Mark Murphy, son Anthony “AJ” Murphy and daughter Stephanie “Kae” Smith. Kat was born on April 27, 1961 in Denver, CO. She and Mark were married on July 4, 1987. She was a loving wife, committed and involved parent and devoted cat slave. Her many passions included cooking, crafts, herbal healing, and a profound love for all plants and animals. Her wit, humor, creativity, intelligence, compassion and unselfish acts will be fondly remembered by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 9th at Atlantic Mortuary, 117 Barton Avenue, Rockledge, FL 32955 followed by a celebration of her life at the family home. Formal dress optional. Hawaiian shirts preferred. Gifts to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation should be sent in place of flowers. Arrangements by Family owned and operated Atlantic Mortuary & Cremation Service, Rockledge.
