Louise Mabel Kicklighter

Louise Mabel Kicklighter was born on April 16, 1927 in Jacksonville, Fl. She passed away October 10, 2017 at 11:00 pm at Solaris Healthcare, Merritt Island, Fl. She was also in the gracious care of Vitas Hospice. She is survived by her four children, Louis Gene Kicklighter (Janey), Thea Johnson, Sharon Kennedy (Scott) and Priscilla Lollis (Doug). She will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren. Gene Kicklighter, Benjamin Johnson, Sharon Kicklighter, Alicia Stuliff, Christina Gualario, Rebekah Davis, Karen Nardella, Michelle Smith, Shana Gorman. She is also survived by her 8 great grandchildren: Josh, Brittanie, AJ, Allison, Emma, Gianna, Avarie, and Annabelle. She was just been blessed with her first great-great grandchild: Clayton Kicklighter She was precedent in death by her husband, Davis Kicklighter, her parents Arthur Thompson, Mabel Thompson and Corrie Thompson, and her three sisters, Hazel Warren, Beatrice Clark and Justine Hagan, Son-in-law David Johnson, and her first grandchild Tina Michelle. In Louise’s spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and cooking. She was retired from the US Forestry Division. She will be missed dearly by all that loved her. We would like to thank the staff at Cedar Creek Assisted Living Facility, Solaris HealthCare and Vitas Hospice for taking excellent care of our mother. Especially thanks to Carol Neal with Vitas for loving our mother too.
