Amy Jo Milligan
Aug 13, 1963 — Oct 6, 2026
Amy Jo Milligan, 63, of South Onondaga, passed away peacefully at home on October 6th, surrounded by her beloved family. She will be remembered for her generosity of heart, kindness, and compassion for others before herself.
Born in 1963 in Binghamton, NY, Amy grew up in the close-knit village of South Onondaga. She worked for many years in different roles within the medical field, where she compassionately helped and guided countless families through their difficult times. Outside of work, Amy enjoyed reading the last chapter of every book first, eager to discover what would happen. She loved thunderstorms, camping and boating in the Adirondacks, baking with loved ones, and spending time caring for her extended family. Above all, Amy was deeply devoted to her family and friends, who were the center of her world.
Amy is survived by her beloved husband, John; her children, Patricia (Thomas), Mackenzie, and Brett (Alannah); 4 grandchildren, Leland, Dylan, Maisie-Jo, and Mila Stevie; her sisters, Rebecca and Carrie (Dale); countless nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and her mother, Sharon.
She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Large, and her sister, Dawn Marie.
Her friends and family will remember her laughter, generous heart, and everlasting compassion for others.
