Todd I. Amidon

Todd I. Amidon, Age 62 passed away peacefully at his home in LaFayette, New York, on April 19, 2026.

Todd was born on April 25, 1962, and graduated from LaFayette High School.  He continued his education at Paul Smith's College and later proudly earned his bachelor's degree in hospitality from Florida International University.  Todd went on to work in his chosen field for more than 20 years, building a successful career with various hotel chains throughout Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta and Miami.  Family and Friends were extremely important to Todd, and he was truly blessed to be loved by so many.  His warmth, loyalty and genuine care for others will be deeply missed.

Todd is survived by his mother, Ann L. Wadsworth Amidon- Father Lloyd I. Amidon, brother Jeffrey L. Amidon his sister Penney L. Amidon Ubieta and brother-in-law Manuel G. Ubieta; 3 nieces, 1 nephew one grandniece and 3 grand-nephews as well as many dear friends and their children who were an important part of his life.

Todd was not religious but was deeply spiritual.

A gathering and small service will take place at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, LaFayette, NY on Friday, April 24th from 11:00am to 12:00pm.  Services will begin at 12PM immediately followed by burial at the LaFayette Rural Cemetery.
