Louise "Jean" Taylor

Louise “Jean” Taylor, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with family at her side. She was a member of the Valley American Legion Post 1468 Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family and playing Bingo.

She is predeceased by her husband, George L. Taylor; her parents, Ida and Henry DeSaw; siblings, Dorothy, Harold and Leonard.

Jean is survived by her children, Linda, George (Cissy), Paul (Norine), Robert (Tara), Terri (Ryan) and Laura (Henry); 10 grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and several, nieces and nephews; and her Childhood Best Friend, Betty.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 11:30AM – 1:30PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, New York. Graveside Service will follow at 2PM.
