Ann "Orleannes" Parr
May 10, 1924 — Jun 16, 2011
Ann Smith Parr born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on May 10, 1924, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2011, in Viera, Florida, after a short illness. She was the loving wife of William Parr, Sr., and wonderful mother to her son, Norm Smith, and her daughters, Ginny (Jerry) Jasper and Kay Smith, stepmother to Bill (Barbara) Parr, Jr., and Larry (Carol) Parr, and grandmother to Alex Smith. She is remembered for her constant cheerfulness, graciousness, and zest for life. She was known for her interest in crafts, her expert bridge playing, and her love of traveling. She was a military wife all of her adult life and cheerfully embraced the military lifestyle with tours of duty in Hawaii, Japan, Germany, and the US. She will be greatly missed by her family, who are immensely grateful for her long and rewarding life. Ann was a beautiful and gracious lady in every way. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Indialantic, Florida. In lieu of flowers, well wishers may make a memorial donation to the Eastminster Presbyterian Church educational seminary fund. Vaya con Dios, Mama…
