Catherine Broomall Holloway (Cathie) formerly of Indian Harbour Beach and Titusville, FL, widow of Leonard Barry Holloway of Montgomery, AL, died, Sunday, July 24, 2011 after a brief illness. Catherine was a business partner with her husband in Credit Bureau in Leesburg and Bartow, FL. She was a charter member and president of Credit Women's Breakfast Club in Huntsville, AL, also a member of Saroptomist Club, BPW and Rotary Auxiliary in Leesburg, FL.
Cathie was preceded in death by her husband, L. Barry Holloway, her two sons, Lonnie, Jr., and Lennie Holloway, III; seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Maerilu Holloway Wooley of Melbourne, and Beneecia Holloway Tacina of Titusville; son, John L. Holloway of Rockledge; six grandchildren, Amy Maddox, Amanda Tacina, Paul Tacina, Sara Holloway, Rachel Hunter and Aubrey Holloway; brother, Donald L. Broomall of Vero Beach; sister, Meta S. Johnson, Surprise, AZ, Ray Broomall of Benicia, CA; one other sister and 3 other brothers, several nieces and nephews.
Service will be conducted Friday, July 29, at 3 p.m. at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach. Scattering of ashes will be at the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis, Titusville, FL.
