Charles W. Poysky, 68, of Indian Harbour Beach, died Monday, February 22, 2010. He was born in Astoria, OR to Bertha and Wayne Poysky. Chuck moved to Brevard County 30 years ago from Spain. He spent most of his military career in Zaragoza and Torrejon Air Force Base in Spain. He proudly served during the Vietnam War, both in Thailand and Vietnam. Chuck was a member of the VFW in Satellite Beach. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He worked for sixteen years at NASA in the cryogenics field. Chuck enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his children, Valerie (Kevin) Conroy and their son Kieran; Carlos (Ann Marie) Poysky and their children, Maxwell and Charles; sister, Lois (Lauren) Snyder and brother, Scott Poysky; and his 23 year companion, Pat Curtis Ralph.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Park, 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway, Merritt Island, FL. 32952, Saturday, February 27, 2010, with a service to begin at 12 noon, followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made toward a memorial brick in Chuck's name to the Veteran's Memorial Center., 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway, Merritt Island, FL 32952.
