Passed away peacefully in Palm Bay on October 9, 2026, at the age of 70.

Kitty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Vanessa Plumb (Aaron). Dear grandmother to Hannah Plumb. Beloved sister to Richard Carsner, Jr., Dan Carsner, and Don Carsner. She is also survived by her boyfriend Ronald Lewis. Predeceased by her loving parents Richard and Kathleen Carsner.

Kitty was born in Cedar Rapids, IA and moved to Florida in 1981. She served in the Air Force from 1976-1978 and had degrees in Business Administration (B.S.) and Industrial Engineering (A.S.). She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

A Celebration of Life Service and Burial will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 130pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1 Mims, FL 32754). In lieu of flowers, donations to the William Childs Hospice House, the National Cancer Institute (for small cell lung cancer), American Cancer Society, or Cancer Research Institute would be greatly appreciated.
