Mabel Dolores Bishop

Mabel Delores Bishop passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2011. She was born in Telford, PA and married her home town sweetheart, Russell Bishop, on July 24th, 1943. Mabel was COL (USAF) Bishop's devoted wife until his death in 2007. After his retirement, they resided in Satellite Beach, FL for over 35 years and were active members of Ascension Lutheran Church in Indian Harbor Beach, FL. Mabel is survived by her daughter Susan Hubbard of Titusville, daughter Debbie Cassem of Leesburg, grandsons LTC (USA) Richard Cassem II and MAJ (USAF) Christopher Cassem, and great-grandchildren Russell, Ryan and Eleni Cassem. A memorial service will be at held at the Buena Vida Estates chapel at 2129 West New Haven Avenue, West Melbourne, FL 32904 on Saturday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Mabel's name to Lutheran World Relief, P.O. Box 17061, Baltimore, MD 21298-9832.
