Ned Miller Straehla

Ned Miller Straehla, 82, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 with his family by his side. He was born in Tampa, FL; Ned and Joyce moved to Brevard County from Europe in 1967 after teaching school for the Department of Defense. Ned had a passion for life and his family. He was an avid golfer having had 15 holes in one. He touched the lives of many people in Brevard County. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce; children, Eric (Jill), Keith (Desiree) and Jeff (Mary); one sister, Louise Sawyer; grandchildren, Adam, Laura, Graham, Christopher, Courtney, Taylor, Kelly and Jennifer. A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Community Chapel in Melbourne Beach.
