In Loving Memory of Noreen Goldsmith

                                                  December 15, 1953 – September 20, 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Noreen Goldsmith, who passed away peacefully in her home on September 20, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family and the people who meant the most to her.

There truly are no words that could ever explain what Noreen meant to our family or how deeply her absence will be felt. She was so much more than a mother, grandmother, sister, business owner, and friend. She was the heart of our family. She was the person we called when we needed advice, comfort, a laugh, or someone who would always be there. She had a way of making her presence known, and life will never feel quite the same without her in it.

Noreen fought a long and incredibly hard battle. Through everything she faced, she showed a strength that our family will never forget. Even during some of her hardest days, her love for her family remained at the center of everything. She fought hard, she loved even harder, and she left behind a family who will carry that love with them for the rest of their lives.

One of Noreen’s greatest accomplishments was That Little Restaurant, a business she built from the ground up through years of hard work, determination, and sacrifice. But to Noreen, it became so much more than a restaurant. It became a second home, not only for her family but for the employees and customers whose lives she touched along the way. She was a hardworking and caring boss who valued the people who worked beside her, and the restaurant will forever hold a piece of her.

She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Rachel, Mandy, and Keri, and a proud grandmother to Robbie, Katie, Dylan, Savannah, Emily, Brody, Cheyenne, Ty, and Charlotte. She is also survived by her brother, Tim, along with many other family members, friends, employees, and loved ones who were blessed to know her.

To her grandchildren, she wasn’t simply “Grandma.” She was a piece of home. She was someone we thought we would always have. It is impossible to imagine all of the birthdays, holidays, accomplishments, and big moments ahead without her there. There will forever be times when we wish we could pick up the phone and call her, sit beside her, hug her, hear her voice, or tell her just one more thing.

The hardest part about losing someone like Noreen is realizing just how much of our lives had her in it. Her memory is everywhere—in her restaurant, in the stories we tell, in the things she taught us, in the family she raised, and in the people, we have become because of her.

There will always be an empty place where she should be, but there will also always be an incredible amount of love left behind.

Noreen’s life cannot be measured simply by the years she lived. It is measured by the family she loved the people she helped, the memories she gave us, and the countless lives that are different because she was a part of them.

This isn’t goodbye, Grandma. We will carry you with us in everything we do. We will tell your stories, keep your memory alive, and love you for the rest of our lives.

Until we get to see you again.

                                                          We love you forever, Grandma.
