Pearle K. Whelpley

Pearle K. Whelpley, 88, of Indian Harbour Beach, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. She was born, October 1, 1921 in Waycross, GA. Pearle grew up in Brunswick, GA., with her sister, Dorothy. She was a loving wife to Donald A. Whelpley, author and meteorologist, and a loving mother to her two sons, Brad and Alan. Later in life, she traveled extensively with Elder Hostile from Europe, to the Caribbean and across America. Pearle was a member of Satellite Beach United Methodist Church. She loved playing bridge and cooking for friends and family. Surviving is her son, Alan Whelpley, of Indian Harbour Beach. Inurnment will be held in Brunswick, GA., at a later date.
