With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Reva Dillard Alcoser, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on June 15, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born on May 5, 1948, in Palo Alto, California, Reva was a beacon of light, love, and joy for all who were fortunate to know her. Reva was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Dillard and Audrey Dillard Ottenstein and the cherished sister of the late Michael Dillard and Charles Dillard Jr.

Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through her devoted husband, Benjamin Alcoser; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carice Cunningham; her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Douglas Boozer; and her treasured grandchildren, Mackenzie Veitch, Kaleigh Boozer, and Anthony James Cunningwood. She is also survived by her brother Floyd Dillard, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who became family throughout her journey.

Reva's professional career as a court reporter in Volusia County, Florida, showcased her exceptional skills and dedication before she embarked on a new adventure, purchasing Parramore's Campground in Astor, FL, in 1986. For 32 years, she owned and operated this beloved campground, transforming it into a haven where families created lasting memories. Her work was marked by her unwavering commitment and passion, earning her the respect and admiration of her community.

A dedicated and active community member, Reva was deeply involved in her church communities in both Daytona and Satellite Beach. Her volunteer spirit shone brightly as she contributed her time and talents to numerous organizations, including Easter Seals, the Jr. Women's League, and local garden clubs. She also served as a valued member of the St. John's River Water Board for many years, demonstrating her dedication to environmental stewardship.

Reva's adventurous spirit was boundless, as she embraced life with enthusiasm and a zest for discovery. Traveling and exploring new places were her passions, and she made it a point to savor every moment of her journeys. An avid lover of the great outdoors, Reva enjoyed fishing, swimming, golf, pickleball, snorkeling, hiking, and boating, always eager to share these experiences with friends and family. Her generous spirit and warm personality made her a friend to all, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Reva's family will honor her memory with a service on June 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Parramore's Campground, located at 1675 Camp South Moon Rd., Astor, FL 32102.
