Ruth Lois Butz

Ruth Lois [Reichey] Butz. Ruth passed away peacefully on April 18, 2011 in Melbourne, Florida. She was a natural leader and enjoyed teaching-especially crafts. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, George H. and Emma [Schramm] Reichey as well as her brother George W. Reichey and her sister Edith Durland. She is survived by her children Jeffrey Butz and wife Jane, Newton, NJ; Linda Shea and husband Peter and their daughter Rebecca, Otego, NY; and Anita Hay and son Mark, Chewelah, WA. Also surviving is her brother- in-law Newton Durland as well as several nieces and nephews that she was fond of. There will be a gathering from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
