Sallie P. Amadon, 88, of Melbourne, passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Savannah, GA to Polly and Daniel Parrish. Sallie came to Brevard County in the late 70's from Falls Church, VA. She was a member of a local knitting and sewing clubs. Sallie loved the beach and swimming.
She is survived by sons, John (Nancy) of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Tracy P. (Karen) of Palm Bay, FL; one grandchild, Laura. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Amadon.
Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Melbourne Beach. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be with her husband Frederick.
